How to Play the Christmas Lottery

Getting your entries for the Christmas Lottery really couldn't be easier. If you're familiar with playing lottery games online, it's equally as simple and only takes a couple of minutes to set up your account. Follow our step by step guide to be in with your chance of landing the festive €13.5 million this Christmas.

Each entry costs £1.50 and can be bought easily in the palm of your hand on your phone, tablet or even on your computer.

Selecting your Numbers
Choose Your Numbers

The first step is to choose your numbers. This involves picking five numbers from a pool of 1-50 and one Joker Ball from a separate pool of 1-5. You confirm your numbers by selecting them from the number grid, or alternatively use the 'Quick Pick' button above the grid to have them automatically generated for you. You can fill out four boards of numbers per transaction.

Pay for Your Entries

Once you're happy with the numbers you’ve chosen, hit the 'Add To Cart' button. You'll then be taken to a summary page which will confirm how many Christmas Lottery entries you’re buying, the date of the draw and the total cost of your entries. Select the orange 'Pay' button to complete your purchase. Note: If you do not have an account set up, you will be prompted to create one when you try to pay.

Sit Back and Wait for the Results

After your entries have been paid for, there's nothing left to do but sit back and relax. Your numbers will be stored in your online account, and what's more, you don't even need to check back on Christmas Day to view the results – you'll be notified by email automatically if you win! Head over to the Prizes page to find out which other exciting prizes are up for grabs in addition to the £13.5 million jackpot.

How to Claim a Christmas Lottery Prize

Claiming Christmas Lottery prizes is simple and straight-forward. As your entries are stored safely online, you never need to worry about misplacing a ticket. In the event of a win, you’ll automatically be notified by email. Don’t worry though, you can still check the results after the draw for that traditional lottery feeling.

Claiming Jackpot Prizes

If your Christmas gets an extra boost to the tune of £13.5 million, you'll be contacted by a member of staff shortly after the draw has taken place. You will be contacted on the phone number you provide when you set up your account.

The agent that contacts you will run through security questions with you and will request I.D to confirm your name, age and address. This could be in the form of your passport or a utility bill. After receiving all the required details from you, verification checks would take place before the winnings would be wired directly into your bank account. Please note that it may take up to four weeks for the funds to reach your account.

Claiming Non-Jackpot Prizes

If you win one of the three secondary prizes, you’ll receive these winnings automatically in your online account shortly after the draw. You can then either use your winnings to purchase entries for one of the many other games available on the site, or you can withdraw it your bank account.

Once a withdrawal request has been approved, it can take up to 72 hours for your funds to reach your account.
